Welcome to your Sustainable Orcas Islandas wiki! The goal of this project is to create a local knowledge hub for everyone who is interested in the subject of sustainability, being green, and working together as a community to empower and combine all of our visions, and projects in one highly visible and accessible place.

San Juan County Solid Waste Survey

A few months back a San Juan County Solid Waste Survey was mailed out to a sampling of households within the county, and later was available for downloading from the county website . This survey is no longer available from the website however.

Highlights from our Second Annual Sustainable Living Fair

It was a beautiful May Day this year on the Eastsound Village Green where the San Juan Stewardship Network (external link) and Sustainable Orcas Island (SOI) (external link) held their second annual Sustainable Living Fair along side the Opening season of the Orcas Island Farmers Market.
